IT’S STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT’S LUCKY DAY!
Finally – State & Local government funding made it to the bill passed in both chambers!
Our first hour, 1:00-2:00 p.m., will feature Ben Conley and Ron Kramer, our Benefits and Labor specializing attorneys from Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Ben and Ron will review the latest guidance on the outbreak period, the latest CDC guidance, and other emerging guidance on plan administration and vaccine policy in the workplace. With the President’s promise that enough vaccine doses will be available for all adults by May 31st, this is a great opportunity to ask your questions as remaining workers return to the office.
During the second hour, 2:00-3:00 p.m., please join us as we review the American Rescue Plan and how it pertains to the Public Sector. We’ll review the expected allocation of State and Local fiscal aid; aid for education, transportation, utilities; and the Plan’s provisions that affect the benefits and administration of employer plans such as COBRA subsidies, expanded exchange subsidies, Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Family Medical Leave credits expansion, and more.
