The Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020, signed into law on December 20, 2019, has extended the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund (PCORI) fee imposed by the IRS for an additional 10 years. As a result of this extension, the PCORI fee will continue to be imposed through 2029.
