New Laws Going Into Effect July 1, 2019 Recently Governor DeSantis signed Senate Bill 426, the Firefighters Cancer Bill, and Senate Bill 7098, the Emergency Responder Death Benefits Amendment, which will both go into effect on July, 1, 2019. This year, The Helping Hands & Healing Hearts Committee and our team members will be volunteering at the 11th Annual Family Health and Community Festival on Saturday, August 3rd! In 2018, our team #8 - Gave Back to 3,500 families in need at the Crockett Foundation's Family Health and Community Festival, one of Broward County's largest school-supply donation events.
